Our mission at The Black Therapist Podcast is to raise awareness of mental maintenance for people of color, to reduce stigma and to increase access to culturally competent community care.
It is our goal not only to discuss the path we have taken to ensure our personal mental fitness but to be a platform that also allows other clinicians of color to do the same.
We are evolving and would like to feature more therapist of color all across the country so we can be a resource to people who look like us and are struggling to find help to deal with their mental health challenges.
Please fill out this brief survey so I know how to better place you on our production schedule and how best we can help you and be in service of our audience. I appreciate your interest, and look forward to fellowshipping with you.
If you are a clinician of color, a psychiatric nurse, a nurse, psychiatrist or mental wellness professional or advocate we want to hear from you.
We are also interested in speaking with community activist, leaders of social movements or mental health advocates who are not professionals in the field. We would love to hear from you.
